Fox escapes Warwickshire Hunt despite blatant holding up
𝗙𝗼𝘅 𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗲𝘀 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝘄𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗛𝘂𝗻𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗯𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗽
Warwickshire Hunt - Bourton Hall Estate, Bourton on Dunsmore - Tuesday 17th September 2024
On Tuesday the Warwickshire Hunt spent the morning hunting on various parts of PAUL JOHN PRESTON and JENNIFER ANNE SIKLOSSY’s Bourton Hall Estate. Convicted criminal huntsman Will Goffe took the hounds in the thick fog to hunt Popehill Spinneys. The rest of the hunt got themselves into position completely surrounding the wood to turn any escaping foxes back into the wood towards the hounds. However Goffe had a sudden change of heart and left rather quickly after realising sabs were positioned on both sides of the wood.
The end of morning saw them hunting just behind the meet at Home Farm Barns with members of the hunt again surrounding the field to turn any fleeing foxes back towards the hounds. Luckily the hunted fox did manage to find a way through, running towards sabs and then across the road. With this Goffe took the hounds back to the meet and packed up.
