Just a short video of test footage from my new GoPro Hero 10 Camera. This was a RAW image sequence that I processed though Lightroom. Then I used ffmpeg to put the images into a video. Then I used VSDC to take away the lens distortion and crop the video.
For reference, below is the ffmpeg command I used to convert the images into a HEVC (H.265) video:
ffmpeg -r 24 -f image2 -start_number 14 -i C0010%03d_2.jpg -pix_fmt yuvj420p -c:v libx265 -tag:v hvc1 test.mp4
The -start_number defines the starting number of the image sequence. In my case it was 14.
The -i C0010%03d_2.jpg defines the name of the sequence files. In this case the files are C0010014_2.jpg and so on.
I found that without the -pix_fmt yuvj420p, the colors were all messed up. So this argument is needed.
The -c:v libx265 states that we will make a HEVC compressed video.
The -tag:v hvc1, I am not sure what this is. It may be for the HEVC compression format.
I just wanted to document how this time lapse was done with ffmpeg so that others could use this as a reference.
