New Storage Building Announcement | Mid-Continent Railway Museum
Mid-Continent Railway Museum is pleased to announce that the construction of a new parts storage building is underway. Restoring and operating historic railcars requires keeping an inventory of historic railcar and locomotive parts. This new facility will help protect Mid-Continent's collection of parts.
Construction was made possible by a small group of donors that were passionate about the building project and have donated the funds necessary to put up the building. This was particularly important because it means it does not impact Mid-Continent ability to pay utilities and other day-to-day bills at a time when no ticket revenue is available because of the COVID-19 pandemic closure.
