A shortoverview about the 'Wild Narcissus Meadows' in the Eifel-Hills in western Germany. The Eifel is situated between Aachen and Cologne in the north and Koblenz and Trier in the south. The border to the south is marked by the Mosel river.
In the west the Eifel is followed by the Ardennes. The highest elevation is the 'Hohe Acht' with an height of 747 meters. The valleys with the Narcissus ar at an height of approximately 500 to 600 meters. It is said, 12 to 15 million flowers are blooming in spring time around the village of Monschau. Two weeks only - and they are gone until next year.
