Do you want to learn how to create canonical URLs in your Rails application? In this AWS Rails tutorial we will install the rack-canonical-host gem to remove the potential for duplicate content from the host portion of our URLs. I'm not an SEO expert, SEO members on teams commonly request this feature. The basic concept here is we are avoiding duplicate content so we will use the gem to redirect www.aws-rails.com to aws-rails.com. Eliminating the potential for duplicated content at the host level.
