Sea of Trees to Summit Part 1: Climbing Mt. Fuji through Aokigahara forest (青木ケ原樹海)
In what appears to be a first judging by the lack of videos/blogs/webpages etc. documenting this particular route, we put my partner-in-climbs' idea of a Sea-of-Trees to Summit of Mt. Fuji hike into action!! Come along as we prove that this route is both feasible and survivable!
A 4 day trip in total, Part 1* covers our arrival late Thursday night August 11, 2016, our visit to the nearby Wind/Lava Cave, and our hike through Aokigahara on our way to the 5th station where we crashed for the night.

** Apologies for the wonky/uneven audio. In an effort to make up for the unbalanced audio recording of my phone, I bought a separate audio recorder and a dead cat, but did not use it for the audio for every video clip. I just bought a new camera to resolve this issue..!
