Electrolysis with salt water is a great Science Experiment or Science fair project
In this simple experiment electric current moves from battery through spoons to salt water. Water is decomposed into hydrogen and oxygen gas and it makes bubbles around the spoons. Electrolysis of water results into Hydrogen and oxygen in ration 2:1 by volume. That is why you see more bubbles on the left as there is more Hydrogen than oxygen.
