These games help them learn that being an adult is hard, and a lot can go wrong but alot can go right too. One kid we taught figured out how to save $1400+ by the end of the "figurative month" just by playing PlaySpent.Org repeatedly with the mindset of maximizing his money in the game.
Once kids understand the problem, they can change their behavior.
