Before there was Metal Slug... there was Gun Force II! Irem's final game before their arcade division shutdown, and some of these designers went on to form a company called Nazca. Note that the default settings for this game start you with 2 lives and no extras, only being allowed to make one mistake in the entire credit is pretty rough.
