LITTLE NIGHTMARES 'The Residence DLC' FIRST PLAYTHROUGH! | Challenging Puzzles, Epic End!
Welcome to my FIRST PLAYTHROUGH of 'The Residence,' the mind-bending DLC for LITTLE NIGHTMARES!
Right from the start, this episode had my head spinning. Every puzzle felt like a mental marathon, mainly because I kept overthinking every step—a classic pitfall for me with any puzzle game. You'll quickly see that I'm completely unsure where to begin. The DLC drops you into a sprawling open area with so many options, it's hard to know what to tackle first. Just when I thought I'd cracked it, another layer was added, and I felt completely stuck.
I have to admit, I needed more help with this DLC than I would have liked, which was a bit disappointing. My tendency to overthink everything definitely didn't help.
Despite the challenges, I thoroughly enjoyed the theme, especially the eerie Shadow Kids! (Once I got the hang of the Flashlight Mechanic, that is.)
This DLC was definitely a tough nut to crack, and I hope I wasn’t the only one who found it so challenging! Once I got through the initial puzzles and things became more linear, the pace picked up and it became much more enjoyable. There were so many great callbacks to the base game throughout the chapters, and the ending—wow! It had one of the best moments in the entire series. This DLC is part of 'The Secrets of the Maw,' and the ending truly lives up to that title, adding a whole new layer of depth and intrigue.
