Bushcraft Basecamp | MY BEST IDEA YET (Episode 3)

Working at the bushcraft basecamp, i am attempting to build onto the campsite with some features that should make the camp easier to use. What i am working on in this video is a raised surface between two trees, almost like a bushcraft cooking counter top. A flat surface, at an appropriate height is usually hard to find in the woods, naturally occurring. So this little raised platform will at the minimum serve as a counter top for organizing, prepping food for campfire cooking in future videos.
The main reason i am making this addition, is that i am tall and that it is quite awkward trying to do bush cooking while bent over all the time.
The other opportunity this camp addition may offer would be a raised cooking platform, similar to a Chippewa Kitchen. I will attempt to cover the surface in mud, to insulate the surface from burning. In theory, this would allow me to cook at this height. It will also provide a place to hang items for storage. If this surface isn't wide enough, i can construct a separate version of the Chippewa kitchen near by.
