INTRODUCTION: Here is my first video-recording of a day fishing! 🎉
September and October, generally the "mid-seasons," are a great time to go coastal trolling with artificials, so, let's open the channel like this, among the magnificent reefs of South Sardinia!
IN THIS VIDEO: a brief summary of a day of light trolling at the end of summer spent relaxing with Leo and Piero, two very novice friends who, with a bit of luck, both managed to come home with a story to tell 🎣.
For this technique, it is important to have a wide assortment of lures; there are various types, colors, sizes, materials and shapes.. The question arises: which one to use?
The different aspects that need to be considered when choosing a lure are: the fish we are looking for, the trolling speed, the wave motion of the sea, the depth at which we want the lure to work, the clarity/turbidity of the water, and also the presence of clouds, which can obviously affect the sunlight and thus the visibility of our lures in the water.
The colors of the fish, the sound of the reel clutch, the rejoicing with friends: these are the emotions of inshore trolling with lures.
Fish caught in this video: dolphinfish ( mahi mahi ), bluefin tuna, atlantic bonito, lizard fish, saddled seabream, trunk, sciarrano script.
