Daytime bream and nighttime battle! Surfcasting Sardinia
An incredible nighttime battle ended with a beautiful 2.5 kg catch.
The Mistral winds dropped off the west coast of Sardinia, the second catch of 2024 for Vale, the new world champion, and I!
Razor clams, local bibi, and live mullet are the baits we chose for this trip. It's the middle of winter, and we'll be fishing for sea bass, gilt-head bream, and white sea bream.
Gilt-head bream during the day is a great start, but after sunset, it feels like we're back in August! Long-distance striped breams and the invasion of the summer predator par excellence: the bluefish.
