AX-2 First Hotfire Test
On June 15th, ASE successfully tested the AX-2 Engine for 20 seconds on Test Stand A at our new 3E test site. This test was the first in a series of qualification firings to certify the engine for use on the Sagittarius 1 SHLV. The engine’s propellants are Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) & Liquid Oxygen (LOX).
