Atlas Copco Multi Purpose Simba 157 & LM45 Diamond Drill Asset
The Multipurpose Percussion and Diamond Drill (MPDD) provides the capabilities of a regular Simba 157 and converts to diamond core drill for grade control using a LM45 diamond drill within 1 shift and its size makes it versitile for small scale mines or or larger mines to add to existing production drilling and grade control capacity.
Designed to drill 30 to 50 mtr grade control holes with a single driller while currently configures for up to 120 mtr holes.
The Atlas Copco DC4 carrier has on-board water storage with all top hammer control systems still in place with the diamond drill control system fitted in parallel with the the control panel secured on the boom to be carried by the rig when trammed between holes and is easily removed when converted back to top hammer operation.
The Top hammer rail was replaced with a diamond drill rail now fitted with stingers for easy set up.
