It is autumn here in Lancaster Pennsylvania. The chill in the air tells me that winter is on its way. During this time, the denizens of the forest are busy preparing for the coming snow. I look forward to the sparkling white blanket that will cover the grass in the meadows and fall off the trees in lumpy piles.
Dreaming in the Snow is a classical romantic style piece that I composed for piano and cello. I grew up in Maine. That state gets a lot of snow. The title is reminiscent of the time I spent as a child outside daydreaming while surrounded by a sparkling snowy wonderland.
I used the Synthogy Ivory II American Concert D piano for the piano part in this piece to accompany my sister playing her cello. They now have a version 3 available. Here is a link:

In the recording you can hear my sister @YolandaMottMusic passionately perform my piece on her cello. She’s an amazing cellist, don’t you think?
Dreaming in the Snow is an original piece composed by Nigel Andreola and performed by the cellist Yolanda Mott. The artwork was hand painted by Nigel Andreola. He is a professional illustrator whose focus is painting book covers and music album covers.
