Musio Ireland - Star of the County Down
In this video I show off a Celtic style track I made using only my voice and instruments from Musio by CineSamples. I used the Uillean pipes, bodhran, Irish whistle, Irish harp, and accordion from the World Series: Ireland instruments that were recently added to Musio. I also included the dulcimer and attempted to make the Taylor Davis Violin sound like a fiddle. Musio doesn't yet have a banjo, so I used the banjo FX instrument from CineHarps to play chords. Only minimal effects and EQ were used on the instruments because they sound pretty good out-of-the-box.
Star of the County Down is a traditional melody with lyrics written by Cathal McGarvey (1866–1927).
I created the arrangement and sang the first verse and the chorus. I made it a little faster than is typical.
