The screaming tunnel is a small limestone tunnel, running underneath what once was called, "the Grand Trunk Railway lines".Back in 1900s, this Tunnel was constructed to remove water from farmlands, which leads to the valley below
Over the years, it has developed a dark history.
”This old limestone tunnel, used to have a small village around it. which was now lost to time.The legend says that, during that time, a couple used to live in the surrounding village, along with their daughter.The man and the wife fought continuously.He was said to be a drunk and abusive husband.Due to his inhuman behaviour, His wife filed for the divorce, and told her husband that their daughter would be leaving with her.
The psychotic husband lost it, and tried to grab her.The little girl was terrified, and ran from the house all the way into the tunnel.She crouched in the pitch black tunnel in an attempt to hid from that mad man.After some time, she could hear footsteps, approaching her. The tunnel was echoed by her high pitched horrifying screams.
