Arup Fellows: Dinesh Patel
Meet Dinesh Patel, Geotechnical Engineer and now an Arup Fellow.
Dinesh has over 40 years of experience in his field, during which he has specialised in infrastructure, complex tall buildings, deep basement and tunnelling projects.
These have ranged from groundbreaking new builds, such as 8 Bishopsgate Tower, Heron Tower and Leadenhall Tower, to notable listed buildings, including Claridge’s Hotel, The Londoner Hotel and the V&A Museum – all located in the UK capital. He is also an expert on reuse of foundations which has resulted in significant savings in cost and embedded carbon for clients.
