A female patient, aged 74, who was diagnosed with
diabetes and hypertension, experiencing intense abdominal
pain throughout her body. Upon assessment, small intestinal
ischemia and SMA thrombosis were found in the CECT
abdomen. On May 24, 2024, the patient had a double barrel
stoma and an emergency laparotomy with ileal resection.
Intra-arterial thrombolysis was performed on the patient
12 hours later, and heparin infusion was maintained for
48 hours. In stable condition, the patient was released.
The patient had stoma closure on June 7, 2024, six weeks later.
The patient is stable and able to have a regular diet at this time.
