Restoring an old chisel with a new wooden handle

A little back story on the chisel
This chisel belonged to my great grandfather and is almost or already over 100 years old. This is the chisel that I use at my school and I really wanted to restore it. Like I mentioned above, I made a small case for it because it’s normally stored in my toolbox at school which moves around a lot XD.
After making the wooden case for the chisel I saw that it was in need of an upgrade/restoration too. I saw a lot of YouTube videos before where people restore old chisel and they look like completely new and shiny chisels. I really wanted this chisel too look original, or old school-ish. I understand that people like to polish their chisel to a shiny gloss finish, I just didn’t want that for this particular project.
In the end you’ll see the system that I made for case so it doesn’t come loose, it’s not the prettiest solution but it works great!!!.
