LIGHTBRINGERS (Animation)
Yet another animation, this time as a stylized, Netflix-ish opening / intro sequence.
Ninian, a homeless runaway surviving on doing odd jobs, gets washed up in a rural small town where he manages to find work as a helping hand at a local funeral parlour. Between struggling with his new boss, an ageing businesswoman named Mor, helping her gentle and idealistic nephew Cyril kickstart his career as an online entertainer and keeping up with the bright, but anxiety-riddled intern Jo, Nin has to discover that the past doesn't rest easily – and sometimes simply refuses to stay buried, at least in the strange place that is the old town of Glenmeare...
This video is part of a passion project I've been working on for a while (you'll see bits of it flying around on this channel from as early as 2013, and I'd like to think that my stuff has somewhat... improved since then).
Among other things, it's been an excuse to fulfill a long-time dream: making an anime(ish) opening for a hypothetical series.
Was it fun to make? YES.
Do I have more than three braincells left after spending nearly all of my free time doing this for months on end? Not sure.
