Black Shamrock / Morrigan's Lament (Celtic Music)
More music, this time for a bigger project I'll try to publish within the next weeks.
The Morrigan is an ancient Celtic goddess that is believed to be the mythological Grandma of the Valkyries - but a lot more fierce than the shield maidens that gradually evolved from proud warrious into "waitresses of the afterlife".
With her task being to guide fallen warriors to the afterlife, if she were a human living in today's times, she would probably have settled down somewhere in rural Ireland, running a funeral parlour. This thought is what inspired the painting that shows up in this video.
