LG 50" TV LED Backlight Troubleshooting/Degradation - zeketheantiquefreak
Nothing to do with antiques, however, I hate to see everything go to the landfill. For 25 USD and a bunch of time, I was able to resurrect this ~ 6 year old LG Model LG47LN-5400 by replacing the backlight LED strips. Suggestion for your LED tv: Go into settings and adjust the brightness way down, extending the life of your LED backlight system. Note: Mistake in video, the board powers 3 and 3, not 3 and 2. My oops.
