This video is for the slightly advanced Ubuntu user (probably not for those who just installed Ubuntu and are trying to learn their way around.
In this video we will start and run AWN (Avant Window Manager) and learn the basics of how to place it on the screen, add widgets and applets, and install and change AWN themes, and how to set the GNOME panels back to default should you not like AWN.
The terminal commands used to restore the GNOME panels:
gconftool-2 --recursive-unset /apps/panel
rm -rf ~/.gconf/apps/panel
pkill gnome-panel
