Juan Pablo Ortiz + TALLER Architects have completed a project for the Engineering Faculty at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia. This design integrates an existing 7,294 sqm brick building with a new 74-meter steel tower, prioritizing sustainability and technical excellence. The retrofit focused on reducing carbon, conserving resources, and extending the building's lifespan, enhancing energy efficiency and inspiring regional engineering research and collaboration.
