A team of scholars from University of Alaska Fairbanks, University of Alaska Anchorage, University of Alaska Southeast, and University of Alaska Systemwide have collaborated to create the 32-page report Alaska’s Changing Arctic: Energy Issues and Trends, which aims to help state leaders craft energy policies as the Arctic changes. In this video, the second of five highlighting content from the report, Jeremy Kasper and Kate Robb of the Alaska Center for Energy and Power at UAF discuss Alaska’s energy system, including key points that state leaders must consider when navigating decisions against the backdrop of a changing Arctic.
