SpongeBob SquarePants might be one of the most culturally relevant shows of all time. Especially season 1. When this show first premiered, it rocked the world with it's instantly lovable characters, zany on-screen antics, and of course, clever comedic bits. So many of us Millennials fell in love with this show to the point where 25 years later, we can pretty much all communicate with one another strictly in SpongeBob quotes. It's just such an amazing show that had such a profound effect on society worldwide.
