VAN LIFE on the YORKSHIRE COAST | FISH & CHIPS & EXPLORING BRIDLINGTON
Our campervan travels take us into Yorkshire this week (East and North!) as vanlife sees us exploring Filey on the coast, with a big craving for that recurring British classic, fish and chips. But will it fail to meet the high standards of Master Stephen, or do we discover that some things really are done better "up north"? Elsewhere, we travel to Bridlington, a town that seems to get some stick, to see an old favourite band, and what we find is a seaside town with a surprising amount going for it. Oh and before all this we take a hike in another British classic - summer rain - as we find ourselves in a mesmerising, otherworldly landscape with a giant stone said to have magical healing powers. Sadly, it didn't cure Stephen's inability to be impressed, or stop Dan endlessly rambling into the camera, but all magical stones have their limits. At least it was pretty.
