This instantwire uses only rails (powered or activator) and one observer every 8 blocks. Make sure you build the observers with their face on NORTH or WEST side and their outputs facing SOUTH or EAST. The bidirectional repeaters using pistons prevent the update supression bug and are recommended every few hundred blocks. (It is also possible to avoid slimeblocks, redstone redirection seems to be the way to go though.) This wire can also be used to trigger instant dropper lines (the rails have to updated at the correct end for the update order to be correct then). For some reason a clock is created when updating the sloped rail at the output of an observer. (placing a block above the sloped rail will not create a clock). Spamming it (e.g. placing an observer facing the rails) might cause a clock. It is possible to build designs that have a downwards facing observer and a sideways facing observer below the rail, but those seem to have to be triggered only at the correct end.
