As per the recent survey conducted by National Council for Applied Economic Research, NCEAR ; India's logistics cost has improved from (13 to 14) % of GDP to around (8 to 9) % of GDP.
This is reflected in India's ranking in Global Logistics Performance Indicator(LPI). This year(2023) , India improved its tally from 44 rank to 38th globally in LPI.
The National Logistics Policy 2022 aims, India to be ranked in best 25 LPI country by 2030, which seems very much achieveable, given the Govt of India thrust in developing infrastructure.
