Dyarchy in Bengal | Dual Rule in Bengal | Modern India | UPSC
Right after the Battle of Buxar in 1764, two treaties made the English East India Company the de facto ruler of Bengal, Bihar and Orissa. Dyarchy started in 1765 and contniued till 1772.
