The Walnut Creek Farmers’ Market is full of incredible local vendors, and over the next few weeks I’ll be introducing you to some of the people behind the booths. These growers and vendors all have great stories about what they do and why they bring their products to our community.
In this video, we meet Shadia, known locally as the “Bee Whisperer.” Her family business produces raw backyard honey from beehives located across Concord, Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, and Lafayette.
We talk about how their honey is produced, what makes raw local honey unique, and some of the products they offer including honeycomb, bee pollen, honey sticks, and hot honey made with three different peppers.
