The way this works is admittedly very crude. The animations seem locked to the frame rate, so every graphic in this game runs faster. The actual gameplay works fine and that's because it relies on timers, not frame values (just look into the DSCs, you'll see). As another thing, you run the risk of unstable framerates (which leads to some horrid stutters) as seen in my test. Disappointing that my hardware isn't up to snuff for recording and running this game via emulation all at once.
Anyway, I think I'll play more Project DIVA. I'm getting too rusty lol
Last night somebody on Reddit found this method using Cheat Engine with RPCS3 to unlock the frame rate. It's not permanent however and when I tried tracing the instructions.... well, I've gotta lot of stuff to sift through before I can find it in F 2nd's ELF.

He posted how to unlock it for the Japanese PSN F 2nd version (NPJB00435). I just followed his example, looked for similar memory, and eventually found it after 20 minutes or so. I'm using BLUS31431. The memory address to modify if you're also using BLUS31431 is 123362E0.
If you play using one of the other versions (such as the PSN F 2nd USA version)... I think for all the regional versions of F 2nd, you can safely try searching around 12300000 onwards (using CTRL+F in the Memory View). Just search for these bytes: 48C7811001000000; and you should locate your region version's code relatively quickly.
