How to stake GRT - Ways to earn rewards - The Graph Project Overview
I give a high-level overview of The Graph project and two ways to make crypto passive income GRT
1. Delegating your crypto - Advanced
You will need buy GRT off of an exchange or swap on a DEX and get that over to your web3 wallet. From there you can delegate your GRT tokens to an indexer to earn rewards.
*One thing to consider as well is choosing an Indexer wisely. If you choose an Indexer who was not trustworthy, or not doing a good job, you will want to undelegate, which means you will be losing a lot of opportunities to earn rewards.
2. Setup to be a node operator or indexer - Expert
This is only meant for institutions or very experienced crypto users that are involved in the GRT project or working with them in some capacity.
You will need 100k GRT tokens, infrastructure and technical knowledge. You can earn rewards from query fee rebates, indexing and running multiple subgraphs.
