NAACP (Rosenwald) Vintage Film Part II: Brown vs. Board of Ed.
Brown V. Board of Education, Charles Hamilton Houston's Vintage Film used by the NAACP in the Brown V. Board of Education. Julius Rosenwald, Booker T. Washington and African American communities built over 5,000 Rosenwald schools. The film features Benedict College in Columbia South Carolina. It's an excellent example of the remarkable deeds that the "People of faith", interdenominational groups, accomplished together. They united and overcame the backward racist principals that restrict all mankind.
This friendship helped the men of faith win the Civil War. The resiliency these people demonstrated through the consequences of the War's hateful aftermath is shown in institutions such as the one featured in this video. Their ability and desire to form interracial kinships is a story that is seldom told. Needless to say these ties were instrumental in the rapid progress made by ex-slaves in an extraordinary short time, only a few decades after gaining their freedom. The time is long overdue for these co-racial American faith-based historical institutions and the divine Underground Railroad be given their recognition. They were truly the birth of the nation. This documentary is a landmark American masterpiece film. A Hollywood classical video.
