Banten International Stadium (Stadium Internasional Banten) is a multi-purpose stadium with 18 entrances or gates. The stadium covers an area of 78,116 square meters and can accommodate up to 30,038 spectators. It is located in Sindangsari Village, Pabuaran District, Serang Regency, Banten, Indonesia. The stadium officially opened on May 9, 2022, and is part of the Banten Sports Center complex. Construction began in 2020 with a budget of IDR 874.3 billion. The stadium's pitch uses Zoysia Matrella grass, known for its resistance to tropical weather and meeting FIFA standards. The stadium also features AFC-standard lighting, and an IAAF-standard running track. Despite its inauguration, the stadium has not yet been used regularly for football matches. One of the main obstacles is inadequate road access to the stadium, which frequently causes traffic jams on the main road, Serang-Pandeglang Highway. As a temporary solution to this problem, the provincial government is building an alternative route between Baros and Petir to allow for diversions during matches, allowing for a one-way system for events. Currently, the Banten Provincial Government is offering stadium management to investors. However, in addition to managing the stadium, investors are required to build other supporting facilities in the Banten Sports Center area, such as a swimming pool, training field, parking area, and access roads to facilitate access to the stadium.
