The Serang-Panimbang Toll Road is a strategic infrastructure project in Banten Province, built under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) scheme. This toll road has a total length of approximately 83.67 km and is divided into three sections:
1. Section 1: Serang-Rangkasbitung, 26.5 km long, has been operational since 2021.
2. Section 2: Rangkasbitung-Cileles, 24.17 km long.
3. Section 3: Cileles-Panimbang, 33 km long, is part of the government's responsibility.
Section 3 of this toll road project crosses six sub-districts and 15 villages in the Pandeglang region and consists of two phases. The first phase is 17.46 km long, and the second phase is 15.54 km long. Specifically for the Panimbang exit area (STA 83), soil improvement is currently underway using pile slab or column grouting methods to stabilize the soft soil contour and support the toll road's load. The construction of this toll road is expected to improve the economy of the Banten community, especially in the industrial and tourism sectors, by providing better access to strategic areas in Banten Province.
