[Instructor] We are almost ready to start creating the ad, but first let's go over the tool you'll be using to do just that. The Ads Create tool will help you create ads based on your advertising objectives. Remember, your objective is what you want people to do when they see your ad. These are things like driving traffic to your website. Think of the Ads Create tool as your guided tour. Facebook will guide you through the necessary steps to create your Facebook ad, and ask you specific questions to get to the heart of what you want to advertise. To launch the Ads Create tool, head to your Facebook profile, select the arrow in the menu at the top right hand corner. From there, you'll choose Manage Ads. This is a good page to bookmark, as you'll be using it every time you create a new ad. It's on this page that you'll see all the different types of ads that you can create, listed by objective. As you hover over each option, you're able to see additional information provided by Facebook, and this includes definitions explaining what each objective does, and what the Facebook ad itself does. Let's go through these quickly together. One thing to know is that Facebook often changes up their features and navigation of their ads tool. Depending on what ads they happen to prioritize at the time, this might look a little bit different or there might be different names for the objectives, but, mainly the objectives and ad types will remain the same. The first column we see here contains the Awareness objectives. This includes promoting brand awareness for your business and extending your reach. The middle column you have the Consideration objectives. This'll support your goal of getting more people to your website, creating more downloads to your app, and generating leads as examples. Lastly, the conversion column is all about getting your audience to take a specific action. These are things like buying a product off of your website. Now that we've gone through the objectives, let's select one, and I'll show you what the next step will be. So here I have Brand Awareness selected. Again, if I hover over that information icon, I get more details. Once selected, I'm going to scroll down. It's here that the ad creation part has begin. You'll notice that I have added in the campaign name, so that H+ Sport Marathon Brand Awareness Campaign, and below that, I have some additional, more advanced options. I have the ability to create a Split Test, so this way I can do an AB test of different aspects of my ad, to see which parts perform the best, and I can also run Campaign Budget Optimization. For the newer advertiser, leave these the way they are, and as you get more and more versed in advertising, then you can go ahead and play with these additional options. The next step would now be for you to start creating your own campaign, following the same steps that I just took. This is a great place to get started for all brands on Facebook.
