I have continually received messages in my dm about how students with HND certificate have applied to numerous institutions (even some of the ones listed on my page @japatouk on instagram) and not getting any response/feedback on their applications.
With the new trend of things, most schools are refusing to grant direct Masters offer to HND certificate or third class holder. This is particularly because the HND Certificate is equivalent to 2 years Undergraduate Diploma which is on RQF 5 level in the UK and 3rd class on the other hand, is just considered poor grades.
So, what do you do?
There are basically two study options available for an intending applicants with HND that want to study in the UK:
💖 Take a Top Up Program to convert the HND to Bsc at RQF 6 level.
OR
💖 Take Pre Masters at RQF 7 level
The major difference between these two options is that, for the top up option- International students can't travel to UK on study visa with their dependents (spouse and children below 18) while for the Pre master option - International students can travel to the UK on study visa with their dependents.
Do not let your grade be a limitation to your goal of studying and working in the UK in 2022.
