UK STUDENT VISA APPLICATION DOCUMENTS/INFORMATION:
1. CAS - Confirmation of Acceptance Statement. This is issued by your school, should be filled and uploaded as part of your application;
2. Documents listed in your CAS and in your Check-list later on in your visa application;
3. TB test certificate: This should be done before your visa application but also be mindful as it has 6months expiration,so be careful not to have it done too early so it doesn't get expired before your visa application;
4. Finance: Tuition fee/balance+ maintenance money
(a) £1,265 per month for living costs for 9 months if you are studying in inner London for the majority of your study (more than 50% of your study time);
(b) £1,015 per month for living costs for 9 months if you are studying in outer London or anywhere else in the UK, for the majority of your study (more than 50% of your study time);
If your course is for more than a year, you need to show your course fees for 1 year and maintenance for 9 months.
5. Add your birth certificate if using parents bank statement.
Only your father/mother or legal guardian can sponsor you;
6. Additional documents if travelling with dependants and other situations:
a. Letter of Explanation- if you need to explain something with your application
b. Marriage Certificate
c. Family picture
d. Any visa refusal/ban you’ve had
e. Birth certificate of kids
Document submission:
After you submit your online application, you will need to pay your IHS, then visa fee before you can select an appointment.
Once you select an appointment, you can select self-upload which is free or assisted upload which costs N11,700.
