A referendum - a vote in which everyone (or nearly everyone) of voting age can take part - was held on Thursday 23 June, to decide whether the UK should leave or remain in the European Union.
Leave won by 52% to 48%.
EU fucntions as a single integrated economy state. But that the Britain is out of European union it might be difficult and hard to move goods across English channel.
Lots of MNC’s have their Headquarters in London, but now that Britain is out, it would be sensible to operate from the union.
EU also allows free movement among EU Countries. Which means
A citizen of one EU country has an unrestricted right to live and work anywhere in the EU. Both Britons and foreigners have taken advantage of this opportunity.
The employment rate has risen in UK. But this has attracted migrants from poor countries from EU. Which created a sense of resentment among the brits. Which indeed forced out the decision of leaving the Britain from EU.
