Jumping in front of bullets
Denial of self is the daily task of every follower of Christ. We can imagine a test of our commitment coming in the form of jumping in front of bullets, an event that will never happen for most of us, and neglect the daily tests of denying ourselves to serve others and be faithful with out work, family, church, and personal habits.
