He’s adding to the Bible
There are a lot of problems with The Passion Translation. It's been panned by scholars, rejected by Bible Gateway, exposed as innacurate. Dr Douglas Moo said he questioned whether it gives us access to the word of God, a scholarly way of saying this thing is really BAD. Dr Craig Blomberg said it needs a Surgeon General's warning label because of it's hazards.
Just because you change the Bible in ways people LIKE it isn't ok to change the Bible so that it says different things.
