K-1 Visa Process Overview 2018
Hey guys! I'm sharing the overview of the K-1 visa with you. It's usually a 5 to 6 month process but currently it's 9 to 12 months because of a major backlog from naturalizations in early 2017.
Stage 1: Mail out 1-129F form (packet)
Stage 2: Get approval from USCIS (5-7 months)
Stage 3: Case gets sent to NVC. Receive case number
Stage 4: Case is sent to embassy (Go to medicals, get police reports)
Stage 5: Interviews (Approved!!!)
That's the overall process. Make sure to include everything in your initial packet cause if you don't, they'll request for evidence which is another waiting game. Feel free to ask me any questions.
