December 21 marks the first day of winter, and the change of seasons is the perfect opportunity for you and your family to explore, learn new things, and try to see the world in different ways. Let’s Welcome Winter—and all of its possibilities—together! For many of us, winter means snow. Try to think about snow as a blank canvas for exploration and creativity. Even a simple game of tag or hide-and-seek gains a new level of fun when fluffy snow is involved. Regardless of the weather, studies have shown that outdoor activity has many benefits for kids—so don’t feel guilty about taking a break from at-home learning to go outside to play. Kids come back inside more focused, recharged, de-stressed, and ready to learn. Besides, going outside in the chilly weather is an excellent excuse to warm up with a mug of hot chocolate.
