It’s the time of year for holiday Making & Baking! There’s something special about giving a homemade gift, but making and baking with kids is not always easy! It’s totally worth the effort, though, as there are so many ways working together benefits kids. While crafting and cooking together kids can practice reading and following directions, build math and problem-solving skills, and strengthen fine-motor skills. Of course, simply spending the time together and trying something new are benefits in themselves. Whatever you choose to make, remember you’re making memories!
