The best storytellers leave the point to the end
Unless you're in a 5 minute meeting where you need to get straight to the point, don't do it!!
Always leave the point to the end. Whether you're in a conversation with friends or work colleagues, share the story first and allow it to have it's impact first by building suspense and tension, and then resolve the tension by revealing the point or reason you're telling it.
Remember that storytelling is the most influential form of communication!
