Today we are exploring Bacalar. The lagoon, aka the Lake of Seven Colors, the town, the food, and then we’ll spend a little time sky gazing as we get to experience 2019’s Super Blood Wolf Moon from Chetumal, Mexico… our first lunar eclipse ever!
Here’s a tip for all the Northwest natives out there... if you ever want to actually see a lunar eclipse you have to get away from the cloudy skies. Mexico was perfect for this. It was almost as cool of an experience as seeing the solar eclipse of 2017 from the Bridger-Teton National Forest.
If you’ve been following our channel, then you know we love sharing about the foods we find on our travels and this video is no different. This episode will not disappoint all you foodies out there.
We’re also going to chat a little about how we’ve felt about safety while traveling in Mexico and safety during the US government shutdown over the border wall. Our family has been concerned, but how is it affecting our interactions with the people of Mexico?
