Merry Christmas from Brian Jean
I will look back on 2016 as a year where Albertans banded together in challenging circumstances.
This would not be possible if it wasn’t for the self-sacrifice and giving of Albertans across our province from families, to firefighters, to police officers and the people next door. There were many who gave more than they ever thought they could.
It’s this spirit that we remember this Christmas season.
And it’s this spirit that helps us remember the story of Jesus Christ. For it was 2,000 years ago when this baby was born and grew to a man and changed the world forever through the ultimate act of self-sacrifice.
Let’s never forget this Christmas, that there are those who across our province who need our help – some more than ever. And let’s remember that there is reason to hold onto hope and to believe in a better world.
